1. Basic rules of badminton of Badminton World Federation (BWF) apply.

 

2. New rally points scoring system is used.

 

3. There will be 4 categories for badminton that is men’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s singles.

 

4. All matches will be conducted in a single elimination tournament format.

 

5. Fixtures will be arranged randomly by the organizers and strictly no dispute will be entertained.

 

6. All matches will be played according to schedule. No requests for amendments will be entertained, unless the organizers confirm an exceptional case and deemed appropriate to a reschedule.

 

7. No one person can participate in more than 2 categories or play in 2 or more singles/doubles team in a single category. Teams/players found guilty will be disqualified with immediate effect.

 

8. All teams/players shall take responsibility for their own warm up. No warm up time shall be given.

 

9. Teams/players are required to be ready and available for their event at least 10 minutes before it starts. Notify any problems to the Officials in charge beforehand. Walkover will be applied if participants are late by 5 minutes and a score of 21-0 will be given to the opposing teams/players.
